As faculty members at Baylor, we strive to extend our Christian faith and practices in all we do -- teaching, research, and service. Even as Baylor has grown, our faith remains the animating force behind all we do, and the University seeks to support its faculty members with a variety of opportunities to deepen their faith commitment and find resources in times of need.
Through several major programs, guests, and a national conference, the Institute for Faith and Learning encourages Baylor’s mission as a university of the first rank committed to its Baptist and Christian heritage by encouraging Christian reflection in service of excellent teaching and research-informed.
Communio is a one-week retreat for Baylor faculty to reflect upon the relationship between faith and learning and the promise and challenges found in Christian higher education.
A division of Student Life, our Spiritual Life staff is located here on campus in the Bobo Spiritual Life Center, and has resources to support and encourage Baylor faculty.
