As chief academic officer, Nancy Brickhouse is responsible for the University's twelve colleges and schools, its research enterprise, University Libraries, as well as Baylor's centers and institutes.

Mary Alexander is responsible for the annual budgeting process for academic units, the financial components of hiring, the execution of strategic initiatives, and providing financial analytical support to the provost, vice provosts, deans, and directors in the academy. She also works with various stakeholders and project teams across the university in support of the strategic plan.

Kevin Chambliss' office provides faculty with resources for obtaining and managing funding to support research and scholarship, helps them to collaborate with entities outside the university, and pursues technology transfer and licensing opportunities with industry. His office also provides administrators with research-related information to support decision-making and assists other units with research-related publicity.

Eduardo Contreras provides oversight to the Center for Global Engagement (including Study Abroad and International Student and Scholar Services), Global Baylor (Quality Enhancement Plan), and the Global Gateway Program.

As vice provost for community engagement and belonging, Coretta Pittman focuses on cultivating a sense of belonging, community, and well-being within Baylor’s academic community while playing a key role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment where faculty, staff, and students within the academy feel valued and connected.

Rishi Sriram provides a common vision for all undergraduate programs, manages the university's SACSOC accreditation efforts, and coordinates with all academic units to achieve goals related to student success.

DeAnna Toten Beard manages faculty-related processes and policies, including hiring, evaluation, and tenure and promotion. 

Michael Young is a vice provost as well as dean of the Graduate School. He provides the provost with strategic insight on issues related to graduate students, programs, and faculty.
