This training is for business officers, office managers, dean assistants, and anyone hiring part-time, temporary adjuncts. For questions, please contact Jeremy Crews.
Establishing the Position Walkthrough
During this session, Dr. Toten Beard will walk through the position-establishing process, and there will be time for Q&A. This session would be most helpful for those responsible for posting a position for a faculty search.

Conducting the Search
This required annual training is for each dean (or designee), dean’s assistant, department chair, and search committee chair involved with one or more faculty searches in the 2026-2027 academic year. The content will focus on best practices and legal considerations related to reviewing applicants, changes to Baylor mission fit paperwork, communicating with applicants, conducting first-round interviews, and holding on-campus interviews.
*Those who attend the A&S and Office of the Provost training on May 19 do not need to attend this training.
