Chair Mentoring
There are a variety of events organized each year for new and veteran department chairs (and those that serve in a similar unit role), including all-chair leadership breakfasts, new chair leadership training lunches, and chair coffee conversations.
New Faculty Orientation
Each August, the Office of the Provost hosts a New Faculty Orientation for new faculty to equip them with the resources they need to succeed in their first semester at Baylor.
Faculty Institutes
During Faculty Institutes, participants explore elements of teaching, research, and collegiality in a supportive group setting led by experienced colleague-mentors.
Digital Humanities Initiative
As an interdisciplinary and research-based initiative, the purpose of the Baylor Digital Humanities Initiative is to promote faculty engagement with the developing methods of computational software and data analytic applications for humanities research and teaching.
